I am in the Molecular and Environmental Toxicology Ph.D. program where I am focusing on the intersection of human and environmental health. I am still developing my main project, but I am working on characterizing a novel alarmone, ppApp and investigating targets for the bacterial stringent response. When I am not in the lab, I enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, hunting, and playing the french horn. I also enjoy reading, watching movies and TV, and playing video games with friends. My current favorites are Project Hail Mary (book), The Lego Movie, Game of Thrones, and Minecraft.
