Aude Trinquier

I did my Ph.D. in Paris (France) in Ciaràn Condon’s lab, where I studied RNA maturation and regulation of gene expression in the Gram-positive model organism Bacillus subtilis. In Jade’s lab, I’m interested in how the alarmone (p)ppGpp (a stress signaling molecule) affects the bacterial physiology, especially how (p)ppGpp tunes the translation machinery in response to stress. If I’m not in the lab, I might be hiking in Wisconsin’s State Parks, or baking something (likely containing chocolate ^^).
